Jehovah Tsidkenu – The LORD Our Righteousness Origin : Jeremiah 23:6 Story : In a prophecy about the coming Messiah, Jeremiah refers to God as Jehovah Tsidkenu, indicating that through the Messiah, God would provide righteousness for His people. Living in the Righteousness of Christ Knowing God as Jehovah Tsidkenu changes the way we live. When we understand that our righteousness comes from God and not from ourselves, it frees us from the burden of trying to earn His favor through good works. Instead, we can rest in the finished work of Christ, knowing that we are already accepted by God.
