El Shaddai – God Almighty

Story: God revealed Himself to Abram as El Shaddai when He established the covenant of circumcision, promising Abram that he would be the father of many nations, despite his old age.


El Shaddai in Our Daily Lives

Understanding God as El Shaddai transforms how we approach life’s difficulties. When facing the unknown or the seemingly impossible, we can take comfort in the fact that God is the Almighty, all-powerful One who is also all-sufficient. This truth enables us to face life with confidence, knowing that God is in control and that He will provide for us according to His perfect will.

Just as God fulfilled His promise to Abraham, He will also fulfill His promises to us. El Shaddai's power has not diminished, and His sufficiency is as real today as it was for Abraham. When we encounter situations beyond our control, we can call upon El Shaddai, trusting that He is not only able but willing to work in our lives in mighty ways.
